Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Solutions Data Engineering team. You will lead the design and delivery of robust cloud-based data platforms and architecture solutions, primarily using Azure and Databricks. This role combines technical leadership, architecture design, pre-sales support, and active involvement in

• Architect and implement comprehensive cloud data solutions using Azure, Databricks, and Spark.
• Lead technical teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Participate actively in pre-sales processes (solution design, prototyping, and client presentations).
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales, PMs, and engineers.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership within the team.
• Ensure robust governance, security, and cost-optimization practices are implemented.s are implemented.

• 6–8+ years in cloud/data engineering with at least 4 years in Azure and/or Databricks.
• Solid expertise in Spark, SQL, Python, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Proven track record in end-to-end solution delivery, from design to support.
• Experience in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud automation.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, security, and cloud architecture principles.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  
  Preferred Skills:

  • Azure or Databricks certifications.
  • Consulting background and multi-cloud experience.
  • Experience with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

Location & Contract:

• Remote work from Latin America.
• Long-term B2B contract through remote.com.

Compensation:

• Up to €6500 monthly (B2B), final amount based on technical skills and interview outcomes.
